When Was Electricity Invented 2024

            When Was Electricity Invented

when was electricity invented Electricity is such a fundamental part of modern existence that it's diff ult to imagine life with out it

at least a couple of thousand years its only in the last century so that we've been able to harness electricity as a source of energy and use it to power our homes

Ready for a quick history lesson? in this blog post we're going to take a quick trip back in time to explore the evolution of electricity

Introduction

When was electricity invented Benjamin Franklin is credited for discovering electricity in the 1700s with his kite experiment in which he flew a kite with a metal key to it during a thunderstorm in science electricity and its history is a fascinating to help for you step by step

How Does Electricity Work

Electricity is created when electrons are transported from one place to another through a conductive medium ,by a moving magnetic field from a generator .the electrical force that pushes electrons in the voltage and the number of electronics that in a wire is the current that is exact ally how does work electricity

William Gilbert's investigation ( 1600 )

William Gilbert (England) first the term electricity from electron,Greek word word for amber .Gilbert wrote the electrification of many substances .he was also the first person to use the terms
electric force, magnetic pole and electric attraction Gilliam Gilbert ,who was a scientist and physician he was the first person to recognise that there was a connection between magnetism and electricity, electricity and first to describe the earth's magnetic field.

Allesandro Volta's invention of the voltaic pile ( 1745 - 1827 )

Alesaro Volta (born February 18,1745,Como,Lombardy [Italy]-died March 5,1827,Como) he was Italian physicist whose invention of the electric battery provided the first source continuous current
Alessandaro Volta created the very simple battery using pure silver and zinc discs, placed between muslin which was dampened wit a salt solution.this was developed from Galvani's experiment with the frog's legs

Michael Faraday's contribution ( 1791 - 1867 )

Michael Faraday (born September 22,1791,Wilmington,survey,England -died August 25,1867,Hampton Court,Surrey) English physicist and chemist whose many experiments contributed greatly to the understanding of electromagnetism .Micheal Faraday demonstrated electromagnetic induction by passing a magnet through a coil of wire

Andre Ampere (1826)

Andre Marie Ampere ( born January 20,1775,Lyon France -died June 10,1836 Marseilles) was a French Physicist who founded and named the science of electrodynamics now known as electromagnetism his name during in everyday life in the ampere the unit for measuring electric current

Nikola Tesla (1800s)

Nikola Tesla was an electrical and mechanical engineer and inventor in the late 1800s to mid 1900 he was considered Serbian -American, as he was ethnically Serbian but but born in the modern Croatian region of the former Asturias-Hungarian Empire .Tesla contributed multitude of different invention and innovation during his life time ,but it was his discoveries of rotating magnetic fields/current that led to invention of an alternating current (AC) motor and Tesla coil which are Regarded as his most important contribution to Society.

Thomas Edison and the developments of the Practical electric lights bulb ( 1847-1931)

Thomas Edison (born February 11,1847,Milan, Ohio,U.s-died October 18,1931,west Orange ,New jersey) American inventor who singly ,held a word -record 1,093 patents .in addition ,he created the world's first industrial research laboratory.Thomas Edison was American inventor who is considered one of American's leading businessmen and inventors ,Edison rose from humble beginnings to work as an inventor of major technology ,including the first commercially viable incandescent light bulb. He is credited to day for helping to build American's economy during the Industrial Revolution.

Types Electricity

Static Electricity The imbalance between the positive and negative charges with in an object causes the discharge of an electrical pulse knows Static Electricity
Electric Current is the flow of electrons through a complete circuit of conductors it is used to power every thing from our lights to our trains

Advantages of electricity

Easily accessible and produced

Using a wide variety of renewable and non-renewable source of energy in producing electricity make it easy to assemble every one can access electricity

Renewable source of energy

electricity is generated by humans by various methods regularly to fulfil their electric needs of human therefore, it is considered a renewable energy source as it can be produced daily.

Easy to manage an transport

with proper planing or management ,electricity transmission is possible on a large scale over a long distance .electricity can transport and cover long distance through medium like wire

Versatile and easy to transform

Electricity is versatile as it can be transformed into another type of energy according to user utilisation it can be converted into motion
Reduces greenhouse emission

Electricity can be produced via renewable energy sources such as wind and solar which are much cleaner and environmentally friendly due to this electricity and its production
more efficient and convenient

Electricity is a convenient and efficient energy sources making many appliance and devices functional it has minimal energy loss in the generation process and transmission over long distance

dis- advantages of electricity

Cause Injuries

An electric shock my result in injuries divide into three parts flame, lightning , flash

Impact on health

Electricity power generated from power plant causes severe damage to health the emitted chemical pollutant impact the ifferent areas or organs of the human body that cause dieseases

Cost of cnstruction

Electricity or electric work in construction can change about 10%-12% of the total construction cost ,excluding land cost construction and maintenance of power plant need money

Concusion

Electricity was never its a form of energy which has always existed throuugh out the universe so it was discovered how ever the term electricity was coined by a guy called William Gilbert in1600 to describe static electricity and the were also two other men Benjamin Franklin and Micheal faraday who were at the fore front of its research and implelmentation
